Captain Fawcett has its origins in a legend that tells us that in 1905 Captain Peabody Fawcett RN Ret'd disappeared while sailing to Ubangi, a major tributary of the Congo River. No trace of his expedition was found until 1997, when an old trunk was purchased from an old house.
